Mefflin Knives
Sydney, Australia
I started making knives in 2015 and have been interested in knives and swords all my life (or at least since I saw Conan the Barbarian the first time).
My love of bushcraft and its skills started me making knives and sheathes. I make bushcraft knives, camping knives and art knives.
In my youth I trained multiple weaponry martial arts including Arnis, Ninjutsu and Japanese Sword (Battodo). My love of these martial arts and their history will always have an influence on my art related pieces.
I employ water cutting and laser cutting for some pieces. Otherwise my knives are 100% hand made and heat treated in house.
After 10 years I still love learning new techniques/skills (and theres so much more to learn). As such, I'll always enjoy training and socialising with other knifemakers and knife enthusiasts. I'm proud to be part of the Australian knifemaking community.

Bushcraft knives with high quality components
I work with a lot of high end stainless steels which are more expensive to purchase and produce, but provide customers a lower maintenance tool with high edge retention.
CPM 154 and CPM Magnacut are my recommended steels and I also like CPM 3V (not stainless) and CPM s90v.
